The Institute for Legal and Economic Research is a law research institute employing
highly qualified lawyers who practice in all spheres of law. Among them are the independent legal practitioners as well
as leading professors of St. Petersburg State University, of the Schools of Law of other institutions of St. Petersburg,
Moscow, Kaliningrad and some former Soviet Union republics.
The Institute particularly specialises in giving legal opinion on complicated issues
of Law arising in civil/commercial disputes and criminal cases as well as in general business practice. It has a
very high reputation within the judicial circles in this country for the deep and well-grounded legal analysis and
independent position. We are proud that our legal opinions really contribute to developing the leading cases on
certain issues of law.
The Institute has its representatives in Austria, Switzerland and Israel. It has
already established the correspondent relationships with some lawyers from Germany, UK, Belarus, Latvia, Ukraine by
way of delivering legal opinions and advice on the matters of civil and criminal law.
