The leading lawyers, economists, and linguists of the Northwest of Russia founded
the Law (“Juridichesky”) Centre Association in 1996. The union of specialists in various spheres of
expertise shall provide the complex approach to the solution of legal, economic and philological issues. The Association's
leaders represent, in the face of universities' professors, the scientific community of the Northwest, as well as legal and
economic organizations of this region of Russia. Accordingly, the idea of the Association is to bring together academic
thought and practical intellect to serve the following principal activities: publishing legal and economic literature, legal
research and legal services, arbitration, audit.
The Association, structurally, is a group of companies consisting of:
- The Institute for Legal and Economic Research “Juridichesky Center–Nauka”—
a law research institute employing highly qualified lawyers who practice in all spheres of law. Among them are the independent
legal practitioners as well as leading professors of St. Petersburg State University, of the Schools of Law of other institutions
of St. Petersburg, Moscow, Kaliningrad and some former Soviet Union republics.
The Institute particularly specialises in giving legal opinion on complicated issues of law arising in civil/commercial disputes and
criminal cases as well as in general business practice.
- The Publishing House “Juridichesky Center–Press”. It specialises in publishing legal and
economic literature. The House publishes several series of book including the textbooks on Civil and Criminal Law, the texts of
criminal and commercial codes of different European jurisdictions as well as codes of the former Soviet republics (translated into
Russian). The House has a highly professional staff of legal translators.
- The international arbitration court
- The company of accountants and consulting service
- The company for services at commercial realty market
